Cone Point Tools

Cone Point
These tools have sharp points for concave radius dressing. Flawless, sturdy diamonds are used in
these tools. Smaller included angles give weaker structures while greater included angles result
in a sturdier tool. Always use the largest angle which will effectively accomplish your purpose.
Used for radius and step dressing and are generally made with 60°, 75° or 90° included
angles, although other angles are available. The diamond is precision centered in the holder.
Angles and shank dimensions should be specified. The cone may have a radius on the nose of the
diamond to give longer life.
